McALLEN – Pharr-San-Juan-Alamo Independent School District (PSJA ISD) will host the Annual Young Women’s Leadership Summit-Fierce & Fearless: Embracing the Power Within on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, starting at 9:30 am at the Radisson Hotel in McAllen, Texas.
This event is designed to inspire and empower first-generation PSJA ISD senior girls that are earning an Associate Degree, College Certificate, Core Complete, or Industry Certification. Over a hundred PSJA ISD seniors from across all high schools will attend the conference.
Marlen Lopez, a PSJA alum and Senior Wealth Advisor, the keynote speaker, will share insights from her 20+ years of experience in international and wealth management. Alongside Lopez, other speakers will offer attendees valuable expertise across a range of industry sectors.
Event Highlights:
Leadership Development Sessions: Topics include Courageous Communication, Reflecting the Best You- In Person and Online, and many others led by accomplished women leaders from the Rio Grande Valley.
Fashion Show: Celebrating confidence and individuality through inspiring student-led presentations.
Networking Lunch: A formal luncheon fostering connections with PSJA leaders.
This event aims to equip young women with the tools, inspiration, and opportunities to embrace their inner power and leadership potential.
