PHARR- PSJA North Early College High School freshman Emily Garza recently had the birthday celebration of her life after getting invited as a guest announcer on the ABC television show Good Morning America during her family’s trip to New York on Monday, Nov. 26.
Garza, who is an active Raider Thespian, is currently playing the character “Winkie” in this year’s children’s show “The Wiz.” She and her parents traveled to New York to celebrate her 15th birthday when she got invited to appear as a guest announcer on the popular ABC television show Good Morning America.
“I am very grateful for the opportunity to represent PSJA and I love my school with all my heart,” said the 15-year-old. “This was so exciting!”
