PHARR – Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (PSJA) ISD will continue to provide free to low-cost mandatory vaccines, including the Flu and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines to PSJA ISD students on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Liberty Middle School from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm through a grant provided by the School-based Human Papillomavirus Vaccination Program together with the University of Texas Medical Branch. TEA is revising the statewide standards for health education for the first time since 1997.

“We appreciate our PSJA Health Services Department for always being at the forefront of new regulations and updates for the health of our students and families,” said PSJA Superintendent Dr. Jorge L. Arredondo. “Our goal is to continue providing these services at a low rate or free of cost if possible.”

Upon arrival, guardians will be asked to bring proof of insurance for their child if they have health insurance. All attendees must wear a face mask and families must stand six feet apart from each other. All proper health and safety guidelines are being followed during these vaccination clinics.
