ALAMO – In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, a Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD (PSJA ISD) educator has been selected to represent her fellow colleagues for a social media takeover of the statewide health nonprofit, It’s Time Texas on Friday, May 7, 2021.
Brittany Cortez, Mathematics Teacher at Alamo Middle School in Alamo, Texas will be taking over It’s Time Texas’ social media and posting about her experiences as a teacher throughout her day. As part of her takeover, she will be showcasing campus and district efforts to promote health and wellness in the campus.
According to Marketing Content Specialist Clara Linhoff the purpose of the takeover is to highlight and support fellow teachers across the State of Texas. As a result, Ms. Cortez will be representing educations in PSJA ISD, the Rio Grande Valley, and across the state.
