SAN JUAN – PSJA Early College High School Senior Devon De Leon signed a letter of intent to play baseball for the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio.

The signing was celebrated today, Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 10:30 am at the school’s main gym.

Devon started playing baseball for the Boys & Girls Club when he was 6 years old as a 1st basemen. The year after that, he started to select travel baseball. Some of the teams already had a 1st baseman so he was willing to play any position available. He decided to take a chance and play the catcher’s position.
