PHARR – Jorge Pinon, Senior at PSJA Southwest Early College High School has signed a letter of intent to continue his athletic career at Buena Vista University located in Storm Lake, Iowa. He was a 3-year starter for the Javelina football team.
Jorge was joined by PSJA ISD Administration and Staff in a ceremony held for his honor, today Tuesday, March 23. In attendance was Superintendent of school, Dr. Jorge L. Arredondo, Athletic Director Orlando Garcia, PSJA Southwest ECHS Principal Ranulfo Marquez, Head Coach Mike Evans and other assistant coaches.
His mother and sister spoke at the occasion, thanking the coaching staff and administration of PSJA Southwest for helping him reach this accolade and pursue his goal of playing at the collegiate level.
