MISSION, Texas — Hidalgo County Precinct 3 Commissioner Everardo “Ever” Villarreal and the Community Outreach Division are proud to announce the kickoff of the 5th Annual Toy Drive, a cherished initiative dedicated to brightening the holiday season for children and families in need across Precinct 3.
The drive will continue through December 12, 2025, the Precinct 3 Community Outreach
Division will collect new, unwrapped toys at multiple drop off locations throughout the precinct. Over the years, this event has become a hallmark of community generosity, uniting residents, schools, and local organizations in the spirit of giving.
All donated toys will be wrapped by volunteers during the Precinct 3 Gift Wrap Party on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, before being distributed to families identified by in-school social workers.
“Our Annual Toy Drive is one of the most meaningful efforts we lead each year. It’s not just about giving gifts; it’s aboutreminding our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and supported by their community. Together, we can make the season brighter for every child,” said Commissioner Villarreal.
Through the continued support of residents, schools, and community partners, the Toy Drive aims to ensure that no child goes without a reason to smile this holiday season. This initiative reflects Precinct 3’s ongoing commitment to building stronger, more connected communities through compassion and service.

- Additional participating school campuses and community sites throughout Hidalgo County
