Mission, TX — Exactly 35 years to the date when he began his profession with the Mission Police Department, the City of Mission is celebrating the career of Chief Robert Dominguez with a retirement luncheon tomorrow at the Mission Event Center. 

Chief Dominguez began his career in law enforcement in 1987 as a patrol officer. Dominguez advanced through the ranks and was named Chief of Police in 2013. His last day with the department will be April 30.
