I have been blessed with three amazing and healthy children, who are the greatest blessings of my life. While our family has been spared from this life changing disease, last year we faced the potential diagnosis of a life altering autoimmune disorder. While our story turned out well and we did not have to face a confirmed diagnosis, those weeks and months of uncerntainty were agonizing wondering what our family would face. So on behalf of the team members in our organization who have faced an autoimmune or cancer diagnosis and on behalf of all the parentsand families that have had to suffer the pain I only imagined, our Bert Ogden & Fiesta Dealerships will be Driving Forward for a Cure on behalf of LLS to raise $100,000 and far beyond!
Many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your support, our efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubles, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.
