Pharr, Texas – The Pharr International Bridge will host a FREE BridgeConnect Trade Session on NAFTA and its impact on the Produce and Maquiladora Industries. The BridgeConnect Trade Session will be held from 10 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at the Pharr Development and Research Center (850 W. Dicker Road <https://pharr-tx.us17.list-manage.com/track/click?u=d3650c5ef4237200003aa41ad&id=6e245b6fad&e=1420e87e31>) in Pharr.
At this BridgeConnect Trade Session, attendees will get an overview of the current timeline and possible scenarios regarding NAFTA, including main changes in the updated agreement, its impact on the importing industry, and discuss other matters in U.S. trade policy that impact importers in the region. Presentations will be conducted by Ken Roberts, President of World City and Bill Lane, Executive Director Trade for America. The event will also feature panelists: Jorge Torres, President, Interlink Trade, Adrian Gonazlez, Branch Director, DB Hasting, and Crispin Flores, President, Mid-Valley Custom Brokers Association, C&J Logistics.
