PHARR, Texas — The Pharr Economic Development Corporation (EDC) Foundation announces the opening of its annual Scholarship Application for eligible high school students pursuing higher education.
The application period will officially open on Friday, February 13, 2026, and will close on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. All application materials must be submitted by the deadline to be considered.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
| Submit a completed application by the posted due date |
| Reside in the City of Pharr |
| Be a current high school student graduating in the 2025–2026 academic year |
| Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA |
| Be enrolled as a full‑time student |
| Complete 15 hours of community service or an internship in Pharr, Texas |
| Submit the application, essay/personal statement, and all required documents by March 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. |
