Pharr, TX – The Pharr International Bridge will be hosting a BridgeConnect Trade Session to update attendees on information regarding the latest on Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) filing and the new functionality and mandatory requirements for filing in order for users to be in compliance. ACE is the primary system through which the trade community reports imports and exports and the government determines admissibility. Pedro J. Pena, ACE Ambassador for the U.S Customs & Border Protection, will be the guest speaker for the sessions and will provide key information on the function of this primary system and how it aids the trade community in reporting imports and exports.
There will be four options to best fit attendees’ schedule, and will be the same presentation for all sessions: Wednesday, April 26, 2017 (9:00-11:00 AM or 2:00-4:00 PM) and Thursday, April 27, 2017 (9:00 – 11:00 AM or 2:00-4:00 PM). All sessions will be held at the Tierra del Sol Golf Club (700 E. Hall Acres Road in Pharr).
The BridgeConnect Trade Session is available at no cost. All interested industry professionals and the media are invited to attend.
