PORT ISABEL – Paving operations are planned for State Highway 100 in Port Isabel, between State Highway 48 and the Queen Isabella Memorial Causeway, starting September 30.
The work, which includes milling and paving the existing roadway and adding new pavement markings, is expected to be completed by November 1. Road crews will be present nightly Sunday through Thursday, between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Drivers should expect lane reductions throughout the work zone and are being asked to refrain from parking on the shoulder of State Highway 100, while crews are present.
