Best Friends Animal Society agrees to arrange for transportation for local dogs, as part of their commitment of making No Kill a reality in the RGV.
WHO: Palm Valley Animal Center’s work to help save homeless animals continues through their Rescue & Transport Program. To date, the PVAC Rescue & Transport Program has saved almost 6,800 pets to date, that is more pets saved than in all of 2017.Â
WHAT: Best Friends Animal Society has confirmed and committed to cover all the costs associated with transporting 60 dogs from our community to Salt Lake City Utah, for the Best Friends NKUT (No Kill Utah) Super Adoption Event in early November.
HOW: Palm Valley Animal Center must secure foster (temporary) homes immediately to move forward in the planning of the cross-country transport, anyone interested making this a success is asked to sign up as a local foster family. Volunteers will need to provide housing until mid-October when transport for #thesuper60 is scheduled.
WHEN: The van transporting the #thesuper60 will arrive at PVAC at 11 AM on Monday, October 15th, 2018, we need help from our local media outlets to help us cover this amazing life-saving event that kicks off our transport partnership with Best Friends Animal Society. Coming this Winter is our initiative to save 800 puppies before Thanksgiving.
