Local community urged to help by volunteering house puppies in need for two weeks as they wait out of state transportation.
WHO: Palm Valley Animal Center’s work to help save homeless animals continues through their Foster Program with support from a national organization, Best Friends Animal Society, offering to cover transportation costs.
WHAT: Join Palm Valley Animal Center for a one of a kind event, Foster Puppy Palooza @lpaPAWS, to kick off their winter foster recruitment campaign. Volunteers willing to temporarily house a puppy and/or puppies will need to complete their foster application, those wanting to skip the registration line on the day of the event should pre-register by completing their foster application at pvaconline.com/FOSTER.
HOW: With just two weeks and a little love, you can save a life! By providing a foster (temporary) home, you’ll give a puppy the love and safety needed to find them a forever home — as well as time, which is usually as little as two weeks. Plus, you’ll free up space at PVAC for another homeless puppy. Fostering is easy too. PVAC Foster Program will match you up with a foster puppy who fits your lifestyle, and we will make sure you have all the information you need to care for your houseguest.
WHEN: Local community interested in helping save puppies by temporarily housing them for two weeks should join us for Foster Puppy Palooza @lpaPAWS on Saturday, October 20, 2018, from 11 AM – 3 PM.
WHERE: The Laurie P. Andrews PAWS Center, 2451 N US Expressway 281, Edinburg Texas 78541
