PHARR, Texas – The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District (PSJA ISD) hosted its inaugural PSJA Toy Patrol Drive on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the PSJA Stadium. Led by the PSJA ISD Police Department, the toy drive collected over 2,400 toy donations to brighten the holidays for students and families within the community.
The PSJA Toy Patrol Drive is part of a broader effort to bring joy and hope to the PSJA ISD community during the holiday season. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, community members, and PSJA ISD staff, thousands of children will be able to take home a toy just in time for the holidays.
“We want to thank everyone who donated and supported the PSJA Toy Patrol Drive,” said PSJA Police Chief Rolando Garcia. “Your kindness and generosity make a real impact especially during the holiday season.”
Toys will be distributed at the 5th Annual PSJA Family Posada taking place at the PSJA Stadium on December 19, 2024, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm while supplies last.
