Pharr, TX– The Food Bank RGV is proud to announce Onin Staffing as a Valley Lemon sponsor for the Empty Bowls 2021 Luncheon and Silent Auction. This sponsorship will enable the Food Bank RGV to provide up 12,500 complete and nutritious meals for families and individuals in the Rio Grande Valley.
The Food Bank RGV is thrilled to welcome everyone back to its signature event for an even better and bigger experience than before. This year marks the 15th Anniversary of the Food Bank RGV’s Empty Bowls Luncheon and Silent Auction. The event will take place from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm on September 21, 2021 at Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas.
Empty Bowls is the Food Bank RGV’s signature fundraising event where local restaurants will provide tastings of delicious food and desserts. Empty Bowls features music, silent auctions, and raffles for a new Cartier watch or Louis Vuitton purse. One-of-a-kind ceramic bowls are included with each ticket. The ceramic bowls stand as a reminder for the hunger faced by many throughout the year in the Rio Grande Valley.
