The McAllen Independent School District will continue to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the Seamless Summer Option for the 2021-22 school year.

All schools that operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price and paid student meals. This approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.

McAllen ISD is also committed to continue to support non-McAllen ISD children under the age of 18 with some curbside feeding. McAllen ISD will publish curbside community feeding locations at the start of the school year on the district website (mcallenisd.org).
