Olga Tijerina of Sinatra International Cuisine and Bar was recognized during the Women with Purpose celebration for her role in supporting community initiatives by hosting and welcoming events that bring people together in the Rio Grande Valley.
Tijerina participated in the event as a representative of the venue, which hosted the seventh annual Women with Purpose gathering organized by Roberta Garza through Mujeres Arriba RGV in commemoration of International Women’s Month.
During the program, Tijerina addressed attendees and expressed appreciation for the opportunity to host the event. “Thank you all for attending this very special program—especially given that it is Women’s Month,” she said. She also thanked Garza “for giving us the opportunity to host it here.”
Tijerina highlighted the venue’s role as a community space, noting that “our doors are open for any type of event,” including gatherings, celebrations, and special occasions. She added, “We hope you have a wonderful time, and thank you for giving us this opportunity.”
