Come enjoy Mint Juleps while betting on horses at the RGV Hispanic Chambers “Night at the Races” on Friday, November 21s and possibly win some major prizes. Ladies wear your fancy Derby hats and partake in the Hat Contest for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize. The fun event will be held at the Holiday Inn Express on S. 10th from 7:00pm to 12:00 midnight. Ticket price of $25 includes food and beverages including Mint Juleps.
People will enjoy betting on 10 horse races at $10 a horse for tickets to the major prizes. Races will be simulcast. DJ Entertainment will also be provided for those wishing to dance in between races. Door prizes will also be given away during the breaks. A Program Book will be given to everyone as they enter the event with the listing of all of the races & horses along with members ad’s supporting the event. “Come and enjoy the beginning of the Weekend with a fun event” states Cynthia M.
