Governor Greg Abbott congratulated the Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE) for receiving U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approval to operate as a national securities exchange. 

The Hidalgo County Commissioners Court adopted an order prohibiting roadside sales of non-livestock animals within the unincorporated areas of the county. The new order is designed to protect public safety, animal welfare, and the quality of life of county residents. The order becomes effective immediately.
