This Saturday, October 2, Downtown El Paso will get a taste of Indian tradition that dates back thousands of years, Ratha Yatra. The event will start with a traditional parade, Festival of Chariots, starting at Noon.
Experience more culture after the parade with musical performances from, The Mayapuris, a world renowned Kirtan band known for their revitalization of ancient music and songs.
The event will also feature a free feast of traditional, authentic Indian food. Free yoga classes from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. and group meditation lead by an experienced Guru from India. Visit transcendental booths and gift shop.
