City of Mission Leaders celebrated one of two new dog parks January 19, 2019, with a “Leash Cutting” Ceremony at the Bannworth Park on 1822 N. Shary Road. The City of Mission’s two new two-acre playgrounds where Mission’s four-legged friends and citizens can socialize and exercise while surrounded by gardens of butterflies and numerous shade trees.
The dog parks are divided into two sections – one for large dogs and one for small, and also feature a leashed dog area with shaded seating, watering stations for pets and owners, and a variety of amenities designed for dog training. Come and enjoy!
