The North American Development Bank (NADBank) announced it will host its annual flagship event, the NADBank Summit 2025, on August 28 and 29, 2025, at the Kimpton Santo Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. The two-day program will focus on “Investing in Infrastructure: The Catalyst for a Prosperous U.S.-Mexico Border Region,” bringing together experts from both countries to address the role of water, energy, and mobility in shaping state economies and border communities.
According to NADBank, the Summit will gather “federal, state and local authorities, private sector investors and developers, academics, large-scale commercial users, thought leaders and renowned environmental experts from Mexico and the United States.” Confirmed keynote speakers include Diana Alarcon, Alternate Executive Director for several countries at the World Bank; U.S. Representative Tony Gonzales of Texas District 23; Rob Black, Secretary of Economic Development for the State of New Mexico; Víctor Manuel Villalobos Arámbula, Former Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development of Mexico; Emmanuel Loo, Secretary of the Economy for Nuevo Leon; Abraham Zamora, President (Mexico) and Chief Sustainability Officer at Sempra Infraestructura; and Alejandra Vázquez Langle, Global Director of Sustainability at Grupo Bimbo.

“We are excited to announce the lineup for our 2025 NADBank Summit!” said John Beckham, NADBank Managing Director. “As with previous years, we have a strong program centered on infrastructure investment and key water and other environmental issues impacting the U.S.-Mexico border region and the broader relationship. We will have lively discussions on the investments needed to support communities achieve long-term prosperity and improve the quality of life for their residents.” Beckham also noted that, “During the Summit, we will also make a major announcement on new financial instruments designed to catalyze investment in infrastructure that conserves and diversifies water resources in rural and urban communities.”

NADBank describes the Summit as a “binational platform to connect public and private entities that are planning and developing resilient environmental infrastructure in the border region with financial institutions and investors interested in advancing innovative projects.” It also aims to link potential large-scale users and environmental experts with initiatives already making an impact in their communities.
