On the third day of MXLAN, the five-day summer art & music festival that celebrates young Latino culture, attendees can experience live muralists, the breakthrough music stage, an artisan mercado, a culinary festival and more.
Enjoy a Return to the Fire with “BEEFSTEAK” by Chef Larry Delgado and nine other local top chefs who will prepare over 800 pounds of primal cuts over open fires, served in family-style banquet seating. The event kicks off at 7:30 p.m. from the McAllen Convention Center Oval Park. Tickets include a six-course BEEFSTEK dinner, featuring top cuts, wine and beer, a Return to the Fire apron, with live music and more. Tickets are $200 a person and seating is extremely limited. MXLAN will host also a Mindgames Chess Festival at the McAllen Convention Center, starting on Friday, at 7:00 p.m. and continuing on subsequent days.
