Founded in 2022 by two visionary leaders, MLB creates space for professional women to connect, collaborate, and strengthen networks essential for economic development and social impact. Through workshops, events, and networking, MLB brings together female entrepreneurs, leaders, and professionals of all generations and sectors to foster economic growth and social change.

Encouraging Women in the RioPlex Region to Dream and Achieve Big
The vision for MLB began as a conversation between its founders, who recognized the essential role of women in shaping business and economic decisions. The RioPlex offered an ideal setting for fostering this cross-border collaboration with its rich cultural mix and strategic location. In its inaugural 2022 event, MLB brought together 70 women leaders, establishing a solid foundation of professional and personal support that has only grown stronger.
The 2023 gathering focused on “Binational Nearshoring,” emphasizing the strategic value of cross-border cooperation and the growing influence of women in reshaping global supply chains. Building on this momentum, the 2024 event will unite women leaders for an inspiring lineup of workshops, networking sessions, and discussions that blend the experience of seasoned leaders with the innovative ideas of younger participants.
With a focus on younger generations, MLB’s goal is to inspire and empower emerging women leaders to become active contributors to regional economic transformation. MLB builds a lasting network that will continue to thrive by fostering a culture of empowerment and mutual support.
