EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) agents arrest four Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang members.

Early Sunday morning, McAllen Border Patrol Station (MCS) agents encountered a group of 56 migrants, composed primarily of families, in Hidalgo, Texas. During processing, it was discovered that within that group was a confirmed MS-13 gang member, a Salvadoran national. 

Sunday afternoon, MCS agents apprehended a group of seven migrants after they illegally entered the United States through Hidalgo, Texas. Records checks regarding a Salvadoran national in the group revealed an arrest for aggravated homicide in the migrant’s country of citizenship. The migrant confessed to the crime and was convicted to 23 months’ imprisonment in 2017. The man is also affiliated with the MS-13 street gang.

Yesterday morning, MCS agents working in Abrams, Texas, apprehended a group of seven single adult migrants after they illegally entered the United States. Records checks revealed the Salvadoran national to being a confirmed MS-13 gang member. Records also revealed the migrant has an active arrest warrant out of West Chester, Pennsylvania.

This morning, a Brownsville Border Patrol Station camera operator observed three subjects walking through the brush near Amigoland. Agents arrested the three migrants and transported them to the station for processing. Records checks revealed one Salvadoran national to being a confirmed MS-13 gang member with a lengthy criminal record, to include drug possession and aggravated assault.

Border Patrol processed the subjects accordingly.
