“Senator Cornyn has been a friend of McAllen for many years, and I have been proud to work with him to support our community,” said Javier Villalobos, Mayor of McAllen. “He is a man of integrity who has fought for sound economic policies that have helped lift up South Texas, and we need him back in the Senate to continue advocating for our region. I look forward to continuing our work together, and proudly endorse him for re-election.”
–
“Our region of the state has often been overlooked, but that has never been the case with Senator John Cornyn,” said Dr. Ambrosio Hernandez, Mayor of Pharr. “He understands the needs of our region, our people, and has visited often to better understand how he can help towns like ours at the federal level. He has helped foster international trade to boost our region, fought for our water rights, and is helping us solve our infrastructure challenges. We need Sen. Cornyn in the U.S. Senate, and he has my full endorsement.”
–
“In Senator Cornyn, I know that our men and women in uniform have someone they can trust,” said Marie Vega, an Angel Mom from Cameron County. “When my beautiful son, a brave Border Patrol agent, was killed by an illegal immigrant — John Cornyn reached out to offer his condolences and his help, and invited me to testify on Capitol Hill about what my family had experienced. He is a man of character who is working hard to secure the border and ensure our communities are safe. We can count on him, and I am glad to endorse him for re-election.”
–
“Senator Cornyn has led with class and dignity ever since I’ve known him, and he has always listened when I’ve picked up the phone,” said Patrick McNulty, Mayor of South Padre Island. “With Sen. Cornyn, I know we have an advocate in the Senate who understands the issues we face in a coastal Texas town, from water challenges to conservation. I know he will continue to work with us to create a bright future for South Padre Island and for our state, which is why I am proud to endorse him for re-election to the United States Senate.”
–
“I’m proud to support John Cornyn because he understands what communities like El Paso need to thrive: strong economic development, secure and efficient borders, and a commitment to public safety,” said Dee Margo, former Mayor of El Paso and Texas State Representative. “Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how effective leadership can help foster growth, protect our families, and strengthen the unique binational ties that define our region. I know Sen. Cornyn will bring the same steady, pragmatic approach he always has to the U.S. Senate, and our border region needs Sen. Cornyn’s leadership in Washington.”
–
“As an attorney, I look for leaders who stand firm for the rule of law and do not waver. Sen. Cornyn has steadfastly defended our Constitution, helped to secure the border, confirmed principled conservative judges nominated by President Trump, and worked to make sure our communities are safe,” said John Hubert, District Attorney for Kleberg and Kenedy Counties. “Sen. Cornyn has earned my endorsement, and I am proud to support his campaign for re-election so that he can continue this mission.
–
“I have known Senator John Cornyn for many years, and I have seen firsthand how hard he works for the people of Texas, in particular the people of South Texas,” said Hollis Rutledge, former Hidalgo County GOP Chair and former President of the Texas Republican Party County Chairman’s Association. “When others wrote off the Rio Grande Valley, Sen. Cornyn showed up and never wavered to help meet the needs of our communities across the Rio Grande Valley. Senator Cornyn, along with past and present GOP leaders, saw the fruits of our labor as a Republican presidential candidate won Hidalgo County for the first time in 20 years last election. Senator Cornyn is a man of respect and integrity, and I’m glad to endorse him for re-election to the United States Senate.”
–
“South Texas, as well as the Rio Grande Valley, faces many challenges, and Sen. Cornyn has been with us every step of the way in meeting those challenges head-on,” said Pete Saenz, the former Mayor of Laredo. “He has fought to keep taxes low for working families, worked with President Trump to secure our border, and is helping us solve our infrastructure needs to ensure our community has the foundation to thrive. It is my honor to endorse my friend John Cornyn for re-election – we need a man of integrity like him representing Texas in the U.S. Senate.”
–
“Senator John Cornyn has been a steadfast advocate for hardworking El Paso families, fighting to keep taxes low and opportunity within reach,” said Jon Barela, CEO of The Borderplex Alliance. “His leadership has championed pro-growth, pro-trade economic policies that have strengthened our border region and helped attract new jobs and investment. I’m proud to support his re-election because El Paso and the entire border region need his continued leadership in the U.S. Senate.”
–
“We have been blessed in getting to know Senator Cornyn and his wife Sandy, two people of strong faith who represent Texas with strength and dignity,” said Pastor Eluid and Catherine Garcia, from a growing church in Hidalgo County. “We need a man of character and faith to lead us in the United States Senate, which is why we are proud to endorse Sen. Cornyn for re-election. We know we can count on him to keep the faith, fight to keep our communities safe, and work to ensure we have a prosperous Texas for future generations.”
