Mission Consolidated Independent School District has been notified that five district schools have been named to the 2019-2020 Honor Roll for their high achievement in student success. The Honor Roll program is organized by Educational Results Partnership (ERP) as part of a national effort to identify higher-performing schools and districts that are improving student outcomes. The Mission CISD schools that received this honor are: Alton Elementary, Midkiff Elementary, Mims Elementary, Salinas Fine Arts Academy, and Mission Collegiate High School.
The 2019-20 ERP is an organization that applies data science to help improve student outcomes and career readiness. ERP maintains the nation’s largest database on student achievement and utilizes this data to identify higher-performing schools and districts.
The schools that receive the Honor Roll distinction have demonstrated consistent high levels of student academic achievement, improvement achievement levels over time, and a reduction in achievement gaps among student populations. This distinction for high schools also includes measures of college readiness.
In Texas, the Honor Roll program is supported by numerous businesses and organizations, including the Texas Business Leadership Council, American Automobile Association (AAA) Texas, Macy’s, Wells Fargo, Chevron Corporation, and Enterprise Holdings Foundation.
