MISSION, Texas – The Mission Consolidated Independent School District’s Purchasing Department has once again been recognized with the prestigious Achievement of Excellence in Procurement (AEP) Award by the National Procurement Institute (NPI).
This marks the third consecutive year Mission CISD has earned this distinguished honor.
According to The National Procurement Institute, the AEP Award is presented to organizations that demonstrate the highest standards of innovation, professionalism, productivity, e-procurement, and leadership in public procurement. Mission CISD’s Purchasing Department continues to set the bar for excellence, joining a select group of awardees that includes procurement departments from cities, counties, universities, and school districts across the nation. “I could not be more proud of our Purchasing Department,” said Mission CISD Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Cris Valdez. “Their hard work, creativity, and commitment to excellence have raised the bar in how we serve our students and community. They truly embody what it means
to lead with innovation and integrity.” By maintaining excellence in procurement, Mission CISD ensures that valuable resources are directed where they matter most-enhancing opportunities for students.
