MISSION, TX – The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce will host a quarterly Buenas Tardes Luncheon on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Club at Cimarron located at 1200 South Shary Road in Mission, Texas. City leaders and business community members are encouraged to attend this informative luncheon with invaluable networking with over 150 local professionals.
The keynote speaker for this event is the prestigious Javier Palomarez, current President and CEO of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), and native of the Rio Grande Valley.
The USHCC is America’s largest Hispanic business association, actively promoting the economic growth, development and interests of more than 4.2 million Hispanic- owned businesses. Palomarez’s story is that of a rise to success, raised in Edinburg, TX as a migrant worker, and becoming homeless as a teenager.
He has now gone on to accomplish over two decades of corporate leadership, save the U.S. Hispanic Chamber from the grips of bankruptcy and bring it to tremendous success, and currently serves on the Senate Task Force on Corporate Diversity and Inclusion, and President Trump’s National Diversity Coalition.
The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce(GMCC) is honored to introduce to the community their new President and CEO, Robert Rosell, who has been in leadership since April 2017. He brings a new and improved vision for the Chamber, a passion for the Mission community and was the key force behind reviving the Buenas Tardes Luncheons.
