Mission, TX- Everyone loves to watch a little TV every now and then. The City of Mission viewers are now able to watch their local government in action.

The City of Mission has launched their own Public, Education and Governmental Access (PEG) channel! This month, Mission’s PEG channel went live for Spectrum customers on channel 1300. It will also soon be carried on the City of Mission’s website. The new Mission Cable Channel (MCC) will feature the latest Mission news, events and calendar listings as well as videos and photos sprinkled with the most recent city council meetings. 

MCC will also contain information detailing Mission’s emergency phone numbers, city department information, social media platforms and job opportunities. Once programming is set, past city council meetings will play on Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Regularly scheduled city council meetings will be carried live on the second and fourth Monday of the month.
