Congressman Henry Cuellar released the following statement about the migrant shelter in Anzalduas Park in Mission, Tx.:   “As a nation divided, it is critical that we continue working together to solve our nation’s most pressing issues.  You can follow along on my tour on my social media, and I hope to see some of you on the road.”   “My district staff continues to meet with officials and constituents.  Should you ever have a problem with a federal agency, please do not hesitate to contact my office. “

“My Mission Outreach Coordinator, Nick Cruz, attended the press conference held by Hidalgo County to address the new migrant shelter in Anzalduas Park.  The 650-person shelter was authorized by Commissioner Ever Villarreal to house migrants who tested positive for COVID-19. We must control the flow of migrants from the southern border, and we absolutely must ensure border communities are safe from the virus.”
