They have seven children ages 21 to 30 years. Previously, he served the City of San Juan as City Secretary. His is an official with the Texas Association of Sports and his hobbies are golfing and traveling. He said his hopes and dreams for his children are, “For them to follow their dreams and achieve their goals.”
Rene Villarreal (34) is married to Paula Zamora; they have one 9-year old child. Rene is a Business Development Specialist that recruits business for San Juan. His hobbies are playing basketball and hiking.
Pat Salinas (46) is married to Dan Salinas, a Sergeant of Correctional Officers for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. She said, “Dan has three children that I now call my own, Sabrina (25), Vicky (23), and D.J. (22); I can’t forget our baby, Dusty (beautiful puppy).” Pat works as the Finance & Contracts Specialist for the San Juan EDC. Her hobbies are scrapbooking, baking/cooking, and traveling. “My hope for my children is that they continue striving to reach their goals and for them to always Thank God for all the blessings He has given them,” she said.
Naxiely Lopez (29) is engaged to Jose Luis Puente. Naxiely is a Public Relations Specialist for the San Juan Economic Development Corporation. “I enjoy a good book, cooking and spending quality time with my family and friends. I don’t have children yet, but if and when I do, I want to teach them as much as possible and nurture their spirit,” she said.
Jennifer Rodriguez (30) is engaged to Tim Flores, a firefighter with the City of Alamo. “I have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls between the ages of 6-months to 7-years old.” Jennifer is the Administrative Assistant for the San Juan EDC and also currently owns a gift shop business in San Juan. Her hobbies are crafts, reading, and baking. “I hope my children never give up on their struggle to follow and achieve their dreams of having success in their lives,” she said.
