Mission Collegiate High School (MCHS) had a total of 13 students earn AP Scholar recognition for their exceptional achievement on Advanced Placement (AP) exams.
The College Board’s AP program provides motivated and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous, college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP exams. The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on students’ performance on AP exams.
One student qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by receiving an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams. Anahi L. Molano from the 2020 graduating class was the student that earned this recognition.
MCHS students that qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP exams with grades of 3 or higher are Mia Adame, Karen Alanis, Paulina Arizpe-Romo, Clarissa Arizpe, Moises Ayala, Anapaula Barba, Nataly Flores Perez, Coral Garza, Ricardo Hernandez Katia Marquez, and Gema Sepulveda Paras. Class of 2020 member who earned the AP Scholar Award: Jordan Molina. Â
