For the first time in Sunset Live history, the festival will feature two stages and an expanded schedule, running from 12:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Sat., April 12, 2025 at the McAllen Convention Center, 700 Convention Center Blvd. Families, music lovers, and jazz enthusiasts can enjoy a completely free event filled with world-class performances, an artisan market, delicious food trucks, and fun activities. Plus, it’s pet-friendly, so bring your furry friends along for the experience! Enjoy free parking at the festival, as well.

Since its inception on October 12, 2013, Sunset Live has been a signature music series in McAllen, creating a platform for emerging artists while providing a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for all ages. This year, with the launch of MIJA Fest, the festival will reach new heights by introducing McAllen’s first-ever jazz festival, bringing international talent and an unforgettable musical experience to the Rio Grande Valley.
Upcoming 2025 Sunset Live spring season dates includes May 9, with Sunset Live at MXLAN and June 14, with Sunset Live at Summer Fest.
