The McAllen Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with McAllen Economic Development Corporation will host the 2nd McAllen’s Mexican Investors Summit on Friday May 9th at the McAllen Convention Center.
This event is expected to attract Mexican investors and entrepreneurs from different Mexican states such as Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon, San Luis Potosi and Distrito Federal.
During the event, valuable information covering key topics related to investing in McAllen will be presented. Among those topics are EB-5 visas, understanding business taxes in Texas, commercial real estate, city permits, and immigration law and franchise opportunities, among many others.
The final goal of the summit is to provide Mexican investors with a set of tools that will make the process of investing and doing business in McAllen as streamlined as possible. This should contribute positively towards the success of the investor.
Many times, foreign investors arrive in the Rio Grande Valley with mis-information and lack of knowledge about investing and making business in Texas.
The summit will provide them with updated and valuable information during their journey of launching businesses or expanding to our city, which can result in more successful investments and generate new jobs in McAllen.
