Beginning this Friday, March 12, 2021, Bicentennial Boulevard will be open from Trenton Road to Auburn Avenue. The City of McAllen Traffic Division wants to inform motorists of traffic changes to the new Trenton Rd. and Bicentennial Blvd. intersection
The intersection at Bicentennial Blvd. and Trenton Rd. eastbound has a new a left turn at the intersection to go northbound on Bicentennial Blvd.
One of the left turn lanes on Bicentennial Blvd. has been eliminated and replaced with a through lane. The outermost lane on the west side of the intersection has a combination (combo) movement in which motorists can go through the intersection to go north or make a right turn east.
New street signs at the intersection have been installed for vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
