The City of McAllen is Advising Motorists of Possible Traffic Interruptions and Delays.

In conjunction with the Hidalgo County – MPO and as a result of their congestion management study, the traffic operations staff will be adjusting traffic signal timings on U.S. Business 83, 23rd St., Nolana Ave., Trenton Rd., Dove Ave., Ridge Rd. and Buddy Owens (3-Mile Line).
The adjustments may cause delays and will run through the last week of April. This week staff will start on U.S. Business 83. Permanent changes will take effect in mid-September. Motorists are advised to use caution in the areas and seek alternate routes if possible.
