McAllen Public Library to Host a Veterans Benefit Expo

McAllen Public Library, in partnership with Texas Veterans Land Board, will host a Veterans Benefit Expo on Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the McAllen Public Library, 4001 N. 23rd St. The event is free and open to veterans and transitioning military, as well as to the general public.

Agencies such as Endeavors, U.S. Border Patrol, Heroes on the Water, Goodwill South Texas – Veteran Services, Tropical Texas Behavioral Health, Bee First Hospice, McAllen Metro and many others will share information about benefits and services to veterans and their families. The Hidalgo County Judge’s Office will distribute the Veterans Resource Guide. Vitalant will be on hand for blood donations.

“The Veterans Benefits Expo is one way we can honor the contributions of our veterans and their families,” says McAllen Public Library Director Kate Horan.
