McAllen Public Library resumed normal business hours on Monday, June 1. While the Library will continue to offer its virtual programming services, including story-times, teen challenges, book reviews, etc., as well as its curbside pick-up, regular hours of operation for patrons to visit the Main Library’s hours are:
- Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Friday – Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The Lark and Palm View Branch Library hours are:
Monday – Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Friday- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. am – 5pm,
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
“We are delighted to welcome our patrons back during hours that are most convenient to them, especially now that we are introducing our new wireless printing service,” said Kate Horan, McAllen Public Library Director.
Wireless or mobile printing service is now available at all three locations. Patrons may use their personal laptop or mobile device to print to the library’s printers from anywhere. Patrons can simply submit documents for printing and then come to any of the three libraries to release and pick up their documents.
More information about this easy-to-use and convenient service is available on the McAllen Public Library website at www.mcallenlibrary.net under the Computers and Printing heading. McAllen Pubic Library charges $.10 per page for black and white prints $.50 per page for color prints.
