In honor of fallen officers and to express appreciation to law enforcement officers serving communities today, the City of McAllen Police Department and the McAllen Police Department Benefit Fund hosted a memorial ceremony on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 to honor and remember their own fallen heroes. This week is Police Officers Memorial Week and is dedicated to all law enforcement officers who have given their lives in the line of duty.
