The McAllen Police Department graduated its 65th Police Academy on July 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McAllen Performing Arts Center. The McAllen Police Department welcomes four graduating Officers. The Cadets developed into Officers through extensive training of the Texas Basic Peace Officer Course, which included long hours of academics and physical fitness.
“Thanks to the support of their family and friends, the four Police Officers will now provide a service on the streets which will require their continued support.” said Victor Rodriguez, Chief of Police.
The four Officers are welcomed into the McAllen Police Department during this ceremony.
