McALLEN, Texas – McAllen Police Officers arrest a suspect in a 2022 homicide investigation. Keith Vladimir Garcia was identified as the suspect in the stabbing death of George Chavez in July 2022. The victim in this case appeared to have “stab wounds,” assaulted in the area of the 2200 block of Datepalm Avenue.
Keith Vladimir Garcia was observed in the area of the 12500 block of North Rooth Road in McAllen, Texas. McAllen Police Investigators served the arrest warrant for Murder on Keith Vladimir Garcia on January 5, 2026. Garcia remains in custody pending formal arraignment of Murder, a First Degree Felony.
