The City of McAllen Passport Division will be open on Sat., March 22, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at its facility in the McAllen Downtown Parking Garage, located at 221 S. 15th St.
Applicants must be present and must provide a valid photo identification with a signature and proof of citizenship, such as a certified Birth Certificate or Certificate of Naturalization. All documents must be originals. Passport fees must be paid by check or money order made payable to the U.S. Department of State. Processing and photo fees can be paid in the form of cash. Credit card payments are not accepted.
While an appointment is not necessary and walk-ins are welcome, please note that appointments are not guaranteed based on the number of applicants who show up on that day. Attendees with no appointment will be helped on a first come, first serve basis pending availability of slots. Parking is available at the McAllen Downtown Parking Garage, with rates starting at $1 for the first hour and $0.50 for every hour after.
