The McAllen Public Library Advisory Board is proud to announce its annual Casino Night fundraiser, themed Monte Carlo, generously sponsored by H-E-B Helping Here. This event will be held after-hours on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at McAllen Public Library, located at 4001 N. 23rd St.  Tickets are $100 and include access to an extensive hot and cold charcuterie table, dessert table, live DJ, fine spirits, traditional casino games, and multiple chances to win great prizes.

“This year, our fundraiser will feature Mark Rios,  an exciting Elvis entertainer who will bring some of ‘the King’s’ legendary hits to life,” said Kate Horan, Library Director. “Attendees will enjoy playing their favorite casino games and strolling the Silent Auction tables for a delightful selection of items.”

“We’re excited to bring the community together for a night of fun, all while supporting an important cause,” said Dr. Joseph Ryan, Library Advisory Board President. “Funds raised at the Casino Night will go directly towards enhancing McAllen Public Library’s 11th annual South Texas Book Festival, helping us continue to foster a love of reading and learning in McAllen.”
