Telexitos will broadcast parade in more than a dozen markets 

The 2nd Annual McAllen Holiday Parade presented by La Plaza Mall, the largest illuminated parade in Texas, will premiere nationwide. Telemundo 40 will air the magical parade on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 at 9:00 a.m. Telemundo’s sister network, Telexitos, is broadcasting the McAllen Holiday Parade presented by La Plaza Mall nationally.

Air dates on Telexitos will be Dec. 25 from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., Dec. 26 from noon to 1:00 p.m. and then again on New Year’s Eve from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The parade will feature more than 50 vibrant lighted floats, larger than life inflatable character balloons and a celebrity filled line-up. The broadcast will also include special musical performances. A new South Texas tradition, this year’s parade includes more than 100 entries making a much heralded trek down Bicentennial Blvd. in McAllen.

The parade will be co-hosted by local television personalities Dalila Garza, Ana Cecilia Méndez and Nicolás Quintero from Noticias Telemundo 40. Telexitos has a footprint in 17 television markets, reaching about 4.4 million people over the air and on cable. Telexitos is available in markets covering 59 percent of U.S. Hispanic households.
