Upon arrival, crews discovered heavy fire and thick smoke coming from an apartment located on the first floor of the complex. Firefighters quickly began efforts to extinguish the fire, evacuate residents from the 8-plex apartments, and provided medical attention to those in need.

Thanks to their rapid response, the fire was brought under control before it could spread to additional units. Two individuals were transported to a local hospital for a medical evaluation.
