The City of McAllen partnered with U.S. Congressman Vicente Gonzalez, D-15, to create a :30 English and :30 Spanish public service announcement with helpful tips on how residents of the Rio Grande Valley can do their part to slow the spread of the pandemic disease. Filmed at the MCN Studio inside of McAllen City Hall, Cong. Gonzalez offers tips on how to care of oneself and the most vulnerable in the community.
“During times of crisis, it’s important that we come together as a community,” said Congressman Gonzalez. “We have a responsibility to take care of each other. Everyone should continue to follow the advice of medical professionals to protect the vulnerable and elderly. No one is immune to the coronavirus. Stay healthy and stay home.”
