In the continuing effort to keep residents well informed and involved in their community’s growth and development, District 4 Commissioner Tania Ramirez will host a town hall meeting on Wednesday, September 25 at the Palm View Community Center, starting at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will serve as an opportunity for residents to learn more about what is happening in the community and discuss their concerns, as well as give their ideas and input.
Members of the McAllen City Manager’s Office will be in attendance to answer any questions. and will provide updates on current and future projects in District 4 and citywide initiatives. Additionally, City of McAllen staff willpresent information on the ongoing projects in the district.
Topics that will be addressed include questions about Metro McAllen, utility and sewage infrastructure and rates, business development and traffic issues; but of course, residents can bring up any other issues that they may have.
“I invite everyone in District 4, to come out and learn more about what the City of McAllen is doing to address issues in the district and to hear of any new concerns,” said Comm. Ramirez.
